This phone number phoned me today i answered an it was an automated voice with no mention of who they are calling from not even a name of a bank, telling me that my card was used early this morning that large amounts of money taken from my account, £400 on ebay and £700 on paypal as they know i not used those amounts before an gave me the options, 1 to accept the amount that it was me, 2 it wasnt me and i forgot the 3rd option as i hung up an checked my bank account an nothing was pending

SCAM This number was the first of three (others were 0208 888 7676 and 01782 254545) which I received on 17th and 18th July 2023, telling me I had security problems with users accessing my computer files. I visited the EE website and asked in the community and lots off EE customers have received exactly the same text message, and they have all got exactly the same amount of "points" which is not an EE scheme, and when you search the number it came from it states the number is on the EE network NOT from EE themselves.
Robin called. Sounded foreign. Said he was calling from the call blocking and scam department. When I asked what company he was calling from he said "the national call blocking company limited" i said there was no such thing. Curious how this was 24 hours after "microsoft" called me and I told them I didn't believe them..... Told him the only legit call blocking was The Telephone Preference Service, and he hung up.

My mobile flagged the number as spam so I answered with my usual 'can i help you' and a woman asked for me, i replied again 'can i help you' and she started talking so fast about some sort of market research.
