Had a missed call and went to ring the number then my phone advised it is potential fraud t or to buy. Comments on other sites advise this is a scam.

SPAM Going by other reports it is a Bank Scam, claiming 2 dodgy payments on your account. But could also be the dreaded I'm calling from Microsoft - monitoring the worlds IP addresses and yours is being used illegally. Whoever they are block the number and relax. It might be good if you have your Banks fraud team number logged in the phones phone book.

SPAM A guy with a scouse accent, called up saying he was from Fleetpoint Magazine, sounded very odd, almost intoxicated. Irish traveller scammers, they arrived in a pair to purchase goods with a fake banking app. Used every excuse possible. Probably a burner number but blocked. Sent them away without the goods and they called back trying to “show me the reference number” and arrange a call with bank of Ireland.

Computer voice informing me of my Visa card being used for Amazon and Western Union purchases. I don't have a Visa card.

SCAM Asian sounding guy called "Charles Williams" (yeah right!) claiming to be from Virgin Media calling about downloaded malware slowing down my internet, he wanted to show me how to fix it ,told him where to go.

I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. Asked for my full name, which I queried as he was supposed to have my account records. However, not giving anything away, I did so but he misspelled everything. Said he was doing a survey about energy, said that i lived in one on the highest energy use areas in the country and local energy providers want to understand why. I said I would not answer any questions.but he proceeded to ask if I had double glazing. I repeated I was not prepared to disclose any information about me or my property to someone on the phone I did not know. He was polite and hung up. I did feel it was leading to a scam call

07718553512 some BS scam, probably waiting for people to answer to qualify the phone number for future scams. Answered the phone after it rang and rang, nobody wanted to speak. Called it back and no answer. Get a life, and a real job.

Pretending to be TPS (Tenant Protection Scheme) saying about receiving a full payout. when quizzed on simple information they would have (like a name for the landlord) hung up. Scam, avoid!
