Recieved phone call from 01483577441 at 1045am on Saturday 28th January 2023, Preporting to be from Amazon, stating they were witholding a payment of £700.00 As they suspect it. Asking me to press 1, which of course I didn't. This was a recorded message. I have never bourght anything of that value. This is a scam. beware.
Looks like this is associated with the scammer on 02080720015 something to do with mobile phone scams. I got a call from them seconds after the call from this number.

Missed call. Having read the other comments I’m going to block this number. I have blocked so many of these numbers that seem to all belong to the same 2 Indian accent people. I don't know think its safe I got a virus in my phone for a while and aI thought my Fb might be hacked ! I just went into my settings no where my WhatsApp was ,my own number was there . But where my FB was this number was there .and I have put soft ware in . I thought I deleted FB and re installed and no we I installed the installed the latest soft ware Amazon is not recognizing me .I have to re log in everywhere . It's a right pain. Be careful ☺️
This number calls me daily claiming to be bank security an automated voice tells me I have made a purchase from Amazon for £300 and a money transfer for over £1000 which I know isn't true as I don't have that amount in my account so I believe it to be a scam
