This is another scam - it seems to have switched from a London number to a Manchester number. They are informing people about a 'possible refund from HMRC', in an Asian accent from a call centre environment.

FRAUD SCAM!! This was an automated message initially asking if I'd authorised a payment for £600 to overseas. Transferred to a human who said the payment on your visa debit card, I asked which card, she replied your visa debit. I asked again which card, was told from your bank. Which bank? The bank you authorised the payment from. I said I have several banks so which one. She replied Halifax bank, when I said I don't bank with Halifax she hung up on me. Be careful folks!

SPAM: upon answering a recorded message played to state my NI number could be suspended due to my phone number having been associated with several illegal activities and I could be arrested and assets seized. Dave from Amazeyingly Clean had a Mr. Jones from CFS telephone today stating he did not like the message I left regarding their harrassment tele calls which was polite requesting they stop or I will take court action. I shouldnt have but "I went off on one and was verbally abusive" at which point he hung up. Then he telephoned back and laughed down the phone and then hung up. Since then he has telephoned at least 5 times. So now I m calm I will be reporting the idiot and the company to the authorities.
Had two calls from this number today and they asked for one of the directors by name. I spoke to this director and he said to take a message. The guy from this company (Alan from the Surveyors Office)said that he would try later. I said he would be better leaving a message as I didn t think the call was for this particular person.
