8 AM this morning, automated call claiming to be "bank security" - went on to tell me my card had been used twice today - obvious scam as I use a building society wanted me to press a number to connect with their "helpline" - I hung up.

Just called me regarding an attempted transaction to John Lewis. Said my account was ‘under attack’ and there had been several suspicious transactions. He said he would escalate my case to Level 3 fraud, set up a new account number and sort code with a random generated name. Phoned Santander fraud department who confirmed my account was safe - the scammer then called me back ‘No Caller ID’! so I told him in no uncertain terms that he was a scamming bastard and he could go forth and multiply.

Scammer! Says send me your email address so I can post your eBay purchase. SCAM. Don't reply to message.

SCAM They started messaging me on whatsapp. it's a known chinese honey pot scam using atrative asian woman photos and then trying to make you invest in some kind of criptocurrency, mostly target men, everywhere in the world.

Another Bank scam! 2 transactions, Amazon & £2000 international money transfer. Spoke to usual Asian sounding man then blocked & reported the number. These people want dealing with.

Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!

Claimed to be from FD fraud department. A scam line which try’s to spoof the FD customer line no. If they ask for any personal details end call and phone FD from a different line.

AO aggressive aftersales, using a no-doubt masked number. Female caller asked me to confirm my personal details - I refused given they had called me! It was framed to confirm my order, but was essentially a very sharp practice way to try and sell insurance. I asked if there was an issue with my order - she said 'no' very unconvincingly. I then asked if it was a service or a sales call - very reluctant to answer so hung up. I think this sort of pseudo cold calling does businesses such as AO.com reputational

SCAM Said they have a refund from HMRC because I incorrectly paid tax on a PPI claim which I did not make. Scary that they have my mobile number, my name and my post code thought. Someone being selling my data.

The manager I spoke to was rude, and as I said I would contact ofcom re the unsolicited call, he said that’s ofgem you F****ng idiot. I am going to contact ofcom and ofgem to see if they can do anything regarding this business as the manager I spoke to called me an idiot as well as F****ng hitler. SCAM Someone with an Indian accent called stating they were calling from Microsoft Windows about hackers using my email. They put me through to a technician and they started getting a bit angry with me as I could not understand what they were saying because of their accent. They told me that hackers were using my computer and that I was not to use my computer and to take it down to their offices in Reading!

Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC
