This No. is used by Community Call Prevention - a company that claims to reduce unwanted calls. All they do is charge you a monthly fee to register you on the free TPS register This company is a part of the problem, not the solution. They have been told many times to stop calling & that all percieved "permissions" to call have been recinded. They say, each time, that the previous operator didn't action the request properly and promise it is fixed now...

I've just kept one of their team talking for 12 minutes, saving others from being called by this scam! They claim to be "Road Traffic Management" and that they can get you additional compensation for a RTA you've had. They also claim to have got your details from the MIB (Motor Insurance Database), but when pushed they claim that all they were given was your phone number and the fact that your vehicle had been in an accident in the last five years that wasn't your fault. I randomly got texted by this number saying "Hi, there." at 11:18, which was weird at first but then I texted "who is this?" and I haven't got a response yet. This website says it's an EE number but I don't get why they would say "Hi, there." with no reason of texting me, if anyone has any idea of who they might be, please tell me.

Pre-recorded female voice (American accent) purporting to be HMRC but number coming up on iPhone as Newquay area. Couldn't clearly hear what was said but usual message engineered to put people under pressure while offering a "Press number 1" type option to be put through to scammers most likely. Just waited and it cut-off.

My mother has been contacted many times on this and other phone numbers. The message, from the caller is always the same, she tells my mother, first in English and then in Chinese that she has a package waiting for her, to collect from the Chinese embassy. This is clearly a scam call.

Highly probable that this is a scam call – Caller claimed to be from BT regarding an internet connection problem, he had an Indian accent and wanted me to access computer. I ended the call at this stage.

THIS IS A PHISHING SCAM! It was the contact number on a scam email supposedly from 'Kaspersky Total Security', (number given as +???????? (????????????) ????????????-????????????????) email said Kaspersky "sent you an invoice for £539.10 GBP". I am not, and never have been, a customer of Kaspersky, so this was obviously a SCAM! DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK "VIEW AND PAY INVOICE"!!
Don't know who called me from this number. I jumped out of bed when the phone rang but I didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. It was 7:36 am ffs! Even the sun was still in bed where I live in Greater Manchester and I do't even know where Thanet is, never mind why someone from there would be phoning me at an ungodly hour. I highly suspect this was a scam call.

Call from Amazon. Told to go online and check emails because somebody was taking £700 from my account. I said no and rang off. Called again wanting to know why I rang off and to get on the computer. I said no again but wouldn't take no for an answer I asked why not using Amazon number it was because it was a security number. Told unless I did as asked, payment would go ahead. I said OK go ahead.Told to be sure as call recorded. 'Good I replied, then you are also recorded. They rang off.

Whoever called from this number 02083131130 said they were from HMRC. This was an audio say that HMRC have been trying to get in touch and to press 1 to carry on the call.

SPAM. Claiming to be from Department of Health and Social Care UK. Has no details about person they are calling. Claim to be undertaking a survey but asking questions about private health insurance and how much I pay per month and who insurance is with. This is not a UK government department calling. Rings from different numbers all over the country - put through a router to make it appear as if they are from different cities. Could be dangerous for someone who believes this to be a genuine government call
