Male Caller, stated he was from car phone warehouse and wanted to let me know about a special offer they have running. I asked how he had come by my phone number as I’ve never dealt with the company, but he immediately launched into a sales pitch. I stopped him saying he should not be phoning my number as it is registered with TPS. He said thank you and hung up.

Noone has my mobile number, and it nevers rings but today it did after i did apply for a new PAYG Sim Card for free from what i thought was genuine o2 web page advertising. If they are genuine and it s a courtesy call then fine, otherwise these could be scamartists trying to confirm your details by tricking you into surrending them online thinking its for a free sim card and cloning o2 s advertising website style. Be careful!

The blighters rang me again with their wretched recorded message telling me it was not too late to claim. I was under pressure, about to send an urgent email. I want to see these people prosecuted. If I thought I was entitled to a p.p.i. refund I would claim it myself, not pay some parasitic firm to do it for me and get half the money. These people are dangerous. They catch out innocent people.
For £2 owing on my Paypal account Akinika are spending over £10 worth of calls and texts to get thru. Geez settle down!!

This number rang today but hung up part way through the answerphone message. After reading comments here and elsewhere, I rang and asked for our number to be removed from their database. The guy I spoke to was happy to do this and also happy to tell me that the third party from whom they receive numbers is Communications Avenue. Looks like these are the people we should really be shutting down. A quick Googke shows that they re based in Newark.
Fraud - recorded message pretending to be from the national crime agency... issues about my national insurance number and said that I could be arrested. Absolutely rubbish.
Following up a comment that this number might be Friends of the Earth, I emailed FoE and was told the number is a fund-raising agency called Listen, used by FoE. At my request FoE has deleted my number. I suggest that anyone who keeps getting calls from this number also contacts FoE via the Contact Us form on the website, to ask for their phone details to be removed so no more calls are received.

Quite clearly an Ambulance Chaser allegedly from National Accident Investigation saying that I had an accident which was not my fault. Where do they get their information and why is it that the Information Commissions Office does not stamp out these nuisance calls. The caller would not take no for an answer until I swore and shouted down the phone when he hung up.

They continued to call me back wanting me to do a lifestyles survey, asking for personal information and saying they could save me from receiving unwanted calls. Oh the irony! Definitely weird! I have missed calls all the time from this number and another they call constantly. Left one strange answer phone message. Looking at others comments seems to be people praying on customers of car phone warehouse who are due an upgrade. Which I am but haven t yet. Just ignore/block and go to the store to be sure n safe.
