I've just kept one of their team talking for 12 minutes, saving others from being called by this scam! They claim to be "Road Traffic Management" and that they can get you additional compensation for a RTA you've had. They also claim to have got your details from the MIB (Motor Insurance Database), but when pushed they claim that all they were given was your phone number and the fact that your vehicle had been in an accident in the last five years that wasn't your fault. Automated voice told me it was being recorded as an older gent spoke over it to ask me a question about a car

A mans voice announced that we had 2 unauthorised transactions on our bank account - quoted two amounts - then it was press 1, press 2 etc etc. Checked our account and nothing unauthorised there.

8 AM this morning, automated call claiming to be "bank security" - went on to tell me my card had been used twice today - obvious scam as I use a building society wanted me to press a number to connect with their "helpline" - I hung up.
