Called to tell me that my computer was running slow and offered to take control of my laptop to show me how to cure the problem. I kept pestering HER with various questions in the middle of her "spill" eventually she hang up. Anyone reading this NEVER let anyone take control of your computer from a "cold" telephone call....

Said his name was James Walker. telling me I have unsecured debt. buckled when I started asking him questions and hung up. asking about my finances and from his accent clearly gave a false name, when I asked what company he was calling from he said it isn t a company it the consumer awareness line, but this does not exist. SCAMMING for bank details!!

They called up asking if I had recently been involved in a car crash. It sounded similar to that scam that makes you say yes and then uses your recording to claim that you agreed to some contract or scam your credit card or something. Answered because it showed a mobile number. Same as other reports, caller asked me to confirm that I had been in a car accident that wasn t my fault. I said no, and asked to be removed form the mailing list and not called again. She hung up. Blocked.
