This guy called to say he s from Windows and my computer is hacked. He gave a licence number & wanted me to get on line to check it was the same as my computer s so he then could stop the hacker rather than having to shut my computer down. He then gave me his number to call back, got very forceful when I didn t and again when I said didn t have time to do it. Told him he was rude and hang up. Microsoft have nothing to do with this.

I have sorted my problem with Aknica by reporting them to the TV LICENCE people on 0300 790 6137, they put me directly through to them and they could not find me on their system? It seems they had got the wrong name my surname wrong christian name so took me off their system! 5 minutes later I got a call from the same number a local number and they where asking about a road traffic accident? Somehow they are putting a local dialling code onto your phone so you pick up ????

Had a call from a Wayne (over friendly in my opinion) about 4 items purchased prior to Christmas and asking if I d had to return any of the said items, then went on to talk about monthly payments and how I m now in control of what and when I pay. I had a call today. There was a big pause and I could hear all this chatter in the background, then they said they were BT, I am not even with BT, I hung up.

Irish lad said he was calling about my frozen pension. i played along and made up stuff about a fictitious pension which he VERIFIED. When said I was just digging out the file to get the pension reference number he hung up, l am a pension administrator so can baffle them with terminology. Proves these calls are a scam.

Called our TPS registered number. When informed of this said they weren t members of that scheme. I just ended the call. My gut feeling is that it s some type of scam.

Why have I received a phone call

Calls same time every day annoying hangs up before I get a chance to answer(not that I would bother answering!).Untrustworthy time wasters.
