This call was from Brittany Ferries to update details of the Booking I had made the previous day. Legitimate call.

Have been charged for 11 calls to this number in one day and 4 calls earlier in June. I have not made these calls and have reported it to BT but they can t do anything about it until after my next bill in September.

I've had two calls from Burnside Plant which I didn't answer, using this number and a different number and hour later. No idea who they are or what they could possibly want. Sounds dodgy. I'm in Scotland.

Then said they had a report from the Road Traffic Management Department that some one at that post code had had a minor traffic accident. When told they were mistaken said goodbye and hung up. This number called today asking to speak to the business owner. I said they where busy she hung up. very rude!!

Said he wanted someone called Ban Newman. No one called Ben Newman could possibly have lived here for the last 20 years, as we have and had our number for 20 years and are on TPS, so either someone has misused our number or they are lying. If they call again I shall report them to the TPS and anyone else I can find.

Called but left no message. The telephone number relates to the JCUH at Middlesbrough and I believe the call is to remind patients of an appointment at the hospital. When I phoned it back I was told to ring 01642 850850.
