Very dangerous. Auto message claiming to be bank fraud office and advising 3 suspect transactions. Asked to press 1 if ok, 3 if not. Did not even give name of the bank! Red flag that auto - they always talk to you in person - they would also want to check that it was actually the custoner talking to! Another red flag re instruction go press button.

Caller asked if I was name when I said quothuhquot they hung up I recalled them but their number is now not in service

Number 01322 936144 is a Telemarketing Scam! If ever you don't recognise the number, DON'T SPEAK and JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anyone, and after a short pause the line goes dead, then congratulations you've just successfully escaped being scammed! This is because it was a computer calling trying to establish if your number was a voiceline. If you'd spoken your number would be logged as a voiceline and some clever con artist would be phoning you later, so now you know. If ever in doubt always hang up!

HMRC SCAM 07477 169835 - Just received a call from this number purporting to be from HMRC about a letter being returned and threatening legal action and to press One to speak to an officer. Recorded voice message was a female with American accent.

the man asked if I have mould in the house and if there were any other issues. I said no, then he said ' l love you, do you love me?' so I hung up and he called again! He said, why did you hang up? So then I blocked the number.

AO aggressive aftersales, using a no-doubt masked number. Female caller asked me to confirm my personal details - I refused given they had called me! It was framed to confirm my order, but was essentially a very sharp practice way to try and sell insurance. I asked if there was an issue with my order - she said 'no' very unconvincingly. SCAM automated message from "bank card security" about two high value transactions. to get these nonexistent transactions cancelled you are supposed to press 1. And no doubt give these unidentified people all your bank details.

SCAM. The caller was a woman claiming to be based in Cape Town, South Africa. She further claimed to be from the energy company – E.ON – that supplies me with electricity. She knew or guessed my first name, and asked for confirmation of details of my name and mailing address. However, she did NOT ask for – nor did she receive – my e˗mail address, my account number, or any bank or credit card or debit card details. Furthermore, she did not ask for immediate payment. Have nothing to do with this number.
