Unknown as was blocked on my Android phone by Calls Blacklist PRO (any unknown number not whitelisted or in my contacts will be rejected to voicemail) NOTE that 0116 0xx may be a call centre (have to dial all the digits so may be used for 03xxx 08xxx 09xxx numbers and unusual to see in incoming call, so might have been error in config or a foreign scammer with made-up invalid number

I have been called on my landline from this number I suspect it is a company selling something, does anybody know who it is please. I was called on a Sunday afternoon not good at all!!!!

Ladies voice, just Hello then silence but listening. Very late at night. would not speak, I had to hang up on them., but when checked line still open. Scarey.

Called twice in 2 days. Asian sounding woman called claiming to be from TSB. I ended call immediately. I checked with TSB who confirmed they have not been calling me. Seems like a phishing scam.

My sister who is 81 years of age had a letter recently from MMF Debt purchase & Recovery Phone 0113 887 6867. She has never heard of this group or firm.

on 22 june the above number 0161 8735544 rang my son and said that an amount of ?1500.00 was waiting to be claimed fir whiplash for a accident he had in 2009 foulishly he gave them details including his mobile phone number and said they will ring him on monday 25th june to follow this up. I have rang this number as i suspected it was some sort of scam and what a surprise the number disconnects when u ring it.I would like to know how they got our landline number when we are ex directory and registered with

If you get a text message from this number, you will get a call from 07885215566 the next day so block both numbers.

Pretty sure call was from Sky. Was able to verify person was from sky by asking them information about my account and login on to the online mysky portal and verifying it (correct information about how long I'd been a customer, what my package was, when my direct debit went out and how much it was discounted). Was a phone call to try and upsell products.

When I ask who it is they do the reply like wtf and I got a Barr from nuisance calls but this one always rings now I need to speciffact this call individually which will cost me money

Unsolicited call - when I called back the number was "not recognised".

These people claim to be from Sky and say they are reducing your sky protect premium. They are not, they are not endorsed by Sky and the service they are offering is extemely suspect, don t fall for their scam and tell them where to go!!

Very abusive, bit thick by sounds of it. Totally unprofessional.

SPAM SCAM ? Virtually inaudible call from what sounded like an call centre in India, claiming to be from "O2 Network", offering something that sounded like "30% contract". Line was so bad I had to hang up.
